The WVU Information Security Program’s mission is to create a secure environment for WVU information resources.

In the Spring of 2005 & 2006 & 2007, the ISPACE Committee has hired Studio 2453 to communicate their messages to students, faculty, administrators and staff. The goal of this project is to help WVU community members understand the importance of information security and their specific responsibilities related to the protection of information resources. Each semester our teams have produced 10-12 posters on a variety of topics such as Phishing, Identity theft, and illegal music downloads.

The WVU IS³PACE committee entered three of our posters in the 2006 ACM SIGUCCS Communication Awards contest. The entry received third place in their category: Student Created Promotional Materials.
